- Which agents does this work with?
- Any MCP client. Claude Code and Cursor are the two it is tested against. Trumbone exposes the video builder as tools your agent can call, so there is no new editor to learn.
- Do I have to leave the editor I work in?
- No. The agent calls the builder from wherever it already runs. You open Trumbone when you want to watch the result or change it.
- What comes out at the end?
- A full-length 16:9 tutorial plus per-chapter vertical cutdowns for social, and an editable Trumbone project rather than a finished file you cannot touch. Change a chapter and export again.
- Do I need a webcam, a microphone, or my own voice?
- None of them. Narration is generated, and the on-screen host is optional. A voice-only tutorial with chapter cards is a valid result.
- What happens when the agent needs a decision?
- It asks in the app and waits. You answer there and it carries on from where it stopped, so a build does not fail because nobody was watching the terminal.
- What does it cost?
- Tokens, charged per generation, so the cost tracks the length of the tutorial. New accounts start with 50 free tokens.
