Acceptable Use Policy

Overview

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your use of Trumbone's AI-powered video creation platform, including all related services, tools, and APIs. By accessing or using Trumbone, you agree to comply with this policy. Violations of this AUP may result in content removal, account suspension, or permanent termination at Trumbone's sole discretion.

Permitted Uses

Trumbone is designed to empower creators. You are encouraged to use the platform for:

• Creating original video content for personal, educational, or professional purposes
• Using AI-powered tools (image generation, lip sync, voice synthesis) for creative projects
• Commercial use of AI-generated outputs that you create through the platform, subject to our Terms of Service
• Collaborating on video projects within your organization or team
• Exporting and distributing content you create through legitimate channels

Prohibited Content

You must not use Trumbone to create, upload, distribute, or store any of the following:

• Child exploitation material: Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any content that sexualizes, exploits, or endangers minors in any way. This is a zero-tolerance policy and will be reported to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and law enforcement.
• Non-consensual intimate imagery: Sexually explicit or intimate content depicting real individuals without their explicit consent, including AI-generated deepfakes of real people in sexual or compromising scenarios.
• Harassment and intimidation: Content designed to harass, threaten, bully, stalk, or intimidate specific individuals or groups, including doxxing or coordinated harassment campaigns.
• Violence and extremism: Content that promotes, glorifies, or incites violence, terrorism, or extremist ideologies, including recruitment materials for violent organizations.
• Fraud and deception: Malware, phishing content, scam materials, or any deceptive content designed to defraud individuals, organizations, or institutions.
• Intellectual property infringement: Content that infringes on copyrights, trademarks, trade secrets, or other intellectual property rights of third parties.
• Spam and unsolicited content: Bulk unsolicited messages, spam campaigns, or content distributed in a manner that violates applicable anti-spam laws.
• Illegal content: Any content that violates applicable local, state, national, or international laws and regulations.

AI-Specific Rules

Trumbone provides AI-powered tools including image generation, lip sync, and voice synthesis. The following rules apply specifically to AI-generated content:

• Do not use AI tools to create realistic depictions of real, identifiable people without their explicit written consent. This includes generating likenesses, voices, or mannerisms of real individuals.
• Do not use AI to generate misleading content that is presented as authentic. Creating deepfakes or synthetic media intended to deceive viewers about the authenticity of the content is strictly prohibited.
• Do not attempt to circumvent, bypass, or disable content safety filters, moderation systems, or other safeguards built into Trumbone's AI tools.
• You are solely responsible for reviewing, verifying, and moderating all AI-generated outputs before publishing, distributing, or using them in any context. AI outputs may contain errors, biases, or unintended content.
• AI-generated outputs may not be eligible for copyright protection in all jurisdictions. You are responsible for understanding the intellectual property implications of AI-generated content in your jurisdiction.

NSFW and Adult Content

Sexually explicit content is prohibited on Trumbone. This includes but is not limited to pornographic material, graphic sexual acts, and content created primarily for sexual arousal.

Artistic nudity may be permitted in limited contexts (e.g., educational content, fine art references, documentary material). However, Trumbone reserves the right to remove any content containing nudity at its sole discretion. If you are unsure whether your content falls within acceptable boundaries, contact us before publishing.

Intellectual Property

You must have the necessary rights, licenses, or permissions for any source material you upload to Trumbone, including images, audio, video, fonts, and other media. You are solely responsible for ensuring your uploads do not infringe on third-party intellectual property rights.

AI-generated content created using Trumbone's tools may be used commercially in accordance with our Terms of Service. However, Trumbone makes no representations regarding the copyrightability or legal status of AI-generated outputs, and you assume all risk associated with their use.

System Abuse

You must not engage in any activity that compromises the integrity, performance, or security of Trumbone's platform. Prohibited activities include:

• Attempting to reverse-engineer, decompile, disassemble, or otherwise extract the source code or underlying algorithms of Trumbone's platform or AI models.
• Using automated scripts, bots, crawlers, or scrapers to access the service beyond normal API usage as documented in our developer documentation.
• Intentionally degrading service performance, availability, or reliability for other users through excessive resource consumption or denial-of-service attacks.
• Attempting to bypass rate limits, usage quotas, token limits, or other security measures and access controls.
• Sharing, selling, or transferring your account credentials or API keys to unauthorized third parties.
• Exploiting vulnerabilities, bugs, or errors in the platform for unauthorized access or unintended functionality.

Reporting Violations

If you become aware of content or behavior that violates this Acceptable Use Policy, please report it to us immediately at support@trumbone.com.

When submitting a report, please include as much detail as possible, including URLs, screenshots, descriptions of the violation, and any other relevant evidence. We review all reports promptly and take appropriate action in accordance with this policy. Reports may be submitted anonymously, but providing contact information allows us to follow up if needed.

Enforcement

Trumbone reserves the right to investigate and take appropriate action against any violations of this AUP. Enforcement actions may include, at our sole discretion:

• Removal or disabling of content that violates this policy
• Issuing a formal warning to your account
• Temporary suspension of your account and access to services
• Permanent termination of your account without refund
• Referral to law enforcement authorities where required or appropriate

For severe violations — including but not limited to child exploitation material, credible threats of violence, or terrorism-related content — Trumbone may take immediate action without prior notice, including account termination and referral to law enforcement.

Changes to This Policy

Trumbone may update this Acceptable Use Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our services, legal requirements, or industry best practices. Material changes will be communicated to you via email or through a notification on the platform. Your continued use of Trumbone after any changes take effect constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy. We encourage you to review this page periodically for the latest information.
