1) Scope and Key Definitions

• “User Content” means content you upload, import, submit, or otherwise provide to the Service, including music/audio, audio stems, videos, images, text, scripts, prompts, captions, and project files.
• “AI Outputs” means content generated by the Service using AI, including video, audio, scripts, images, captions, voiceovers, or other generated assets.
• “Usage Data” means technical and analytics information about how you use the Service.

2) Information We Collect

A) Information you provide

• Account information: name, email address, username, password (or authentication token).
• Profile and preferences: settings you choose.
• Payments and subscriptions: billing details and transaction metadata. Payment card information is generally processed by our payment processors and not stored by Trumbone except via tokenization or processor tools.
• Support and communications: messages you send us and any attachments.
• User Content: uploads, prompts, project files, and other content you create or submit.

B) Information collected automatically

• Device and network information: IP address, device identifiers, browser type, operating system, language, and network data.
• Usage Data: log data, pages/feature usage, timestamps, referral URLs, and crash/error reports.
• Tracking technologies: cookies, pixels, SDKs, and similar technologies (see Section 6).

C) Information from third parties

• Payment processors: subscription status, payment confirmations, refunds (if any), chargeback/dispute status.
• Authentication providers: basic profile information you authorize (for example via Google/Apple sign-in).
• Analytics, hosting, and security providers: performance metrics and security signals.

3) How We Use Information

• Provide, operate, and maintain the Service (uploads, editing, generation, rendering, exporting, storing projects).
• Process transactions and manage subscriptions, billing, and account administration.

4) AI Processing, User Content, and Outputs

A) Processing of User Content

To provide the Service, Trumbone processes User Content you upload (for example: transcoding, analysis, synchronization, editing, rendering, and combining content with AI-generated elements when you request those features).

B) AI Outputs are unpredictable

AI Outputs may be inaccurate, incomplete, offensive, or unsuitable. You are responsible for reviewing Outputs before using, publishing, or distributing them.

C) Model training

By default, Trumbone does not use your User Content to train our own AI models unless we offer a clear opt-in option. We may use aggregated or de-identified performance data (for example: latency, error rates, feature success rates) to improve reliability.

D) Third-party AI providers

We may use third-party AI and cloud providers to process User Content and generate Outputs. We share what is reasonably necessary to provide the Service, subject to contractual restrictions.

5) How We Disclose Information

We may disclose information as follows:

A) Service providers and vendors

We may disclose information to vendors that help operate the Service, including hosting, storage, AI processing, payment processing, analytics, customer support, and security.

B) Advertising and marketing partners

We may share or make available certain information (such as device identifiers, event data, and conversion signals) with advertising and marketing partners and their tracking technologies (including those listed in Section 6) to measure campaigns, attribute conversions, build audiences, and deliver marketing.

C) Legal and safety

We may disclose information if we believe it is necessary to comply with law, respond to lawful requests, protect rights and safety, investigate fraud or security issues, or enforce our policies.

D) Business transfers

Trumbone uses cookies, pixels, SDKs, and similar technologies (“Tracking Technologies”) to operate the Service, understand usage, measure performance, and support marketing and advertising.

A) Types of Tracking Technologies

• Essential: authentication, security, session management, fraud prevention.
• Functional: remembering preferences and settings.
• Analytics/Performance: measuring site/app performance, feature usage, and reliability.
• Marketing/Advertising: measuring ad performance, attributing conversions, building audiences, retargeting, and delivering relevant ads.

B) Examples of technologies and providers

We may use tracking scripts, pixels, and SDKs from providers including, but not limited to:

• Meta (Facebook/Instagram)
• Google (including Google Analytics and advertising tools)
• TikTok
• LinkedIn

These technologies may collect information such as your IP address, device identifiers, browser type, pages viewed, clicks, timestamps, referral URLs, approximate location derived from IP, and actions taken on the Service (for example: account creation, subscription events, purchases, or feature usage).

C) How Tracking Technologies are used

We use Tracking Technologies to:

• measure and improve marketing campaigns,
• understand which ads or channels lead to signups or purchases,
• limit fraud and abuse (including suspicious traffic),
• build audiences and retarget ads to users who have interacted with the Service (where permitted),
• personalize marketing messages and ads (where permitted).

D) Your choices

• Browser controls: You can limit or block cookies in your browser settings. Some features may not work properly without cookies.
• Platform controls: You may be able to adjust ad personalization settings on platforms such as Google, Meta, TikTok, and LinkedIn.
• Do Not Track: Some browsers send “Do Not Track” signals. The Service may not respond consistently because there is no universally accepted standard.

7) Marketing Communications

If you create an account or provide your email, we may send you service-related messages and marketing communications. You can opt out of marketing emails by using the unsubscribe link in those emails. Even if you opt out of marketing, we may still send non-marketing messages related to your account, billing, and Service updates.

8) Data Retention

We retain Personal Information and User Content as long as needed to provide the Service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Deletion may take time to propagate and backups may retain data for a limited period.

9) Security

We use reasonable safeguards to protect information, but no system is completely secure. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials.

10) Your Privacy Choices and Rights

The Service is not intended for children under 13 (or under 16 in certain locations). We do not knowingly collect Personal Information from children.
